Overview

Our fabrication shop runs fiber-laser cutting through CNC press-brake forming and welding, producing structural and enclosure parts from flat sheet through to a finished, welded assembly.

Nesting, forming sequence and weld fixturing are all planned together at quoting stage, which is where most of the cost and lead-time in sheet metal work actually gets decided.

Process Overview

How a part moves through sheet metal fabrication

1Step 1 of 6

Nesting & Laser Cutting

Parts are nested for material yield and cut on our fiber laser to flat-pattern dimension.

2Step 2 of 6

CNC Press Brake Forming

Programmed bend sequences form the flat pattern to final 3D geometry.

3Step 3 of 6

Welding & Assembly

Structural welding and sub-assembly is completed against the assembly drawing.

4Step 4 of 6

Deburring

Edges and weld areas are deburred and dressed for a consistent finish.

5Step 5 of 6

Surface Finishing

Parts move to powder coat, plating or another specified finish.

6Step 6 of 6

Final Inspection

Dimensional check against the flat pattern and assembly drawing before dispatch.

Quality Checks

What we verify at every step

Weld inspection on all structural fabrications

Bend angle verification against drawing

Dimensional check against flat pattern before forming

Post-finish thickness and adhesion checks
